Noted director, producer, actor, distributor S Narayan is in trouble. This time it is related to the Tamil film ‘Puli’ distribution. The Tamil film Puli was super flop in the career of actor Vijay that also starred Kichcha sudeep in a prominent role. Even Sridevi also acted in this film.

S Narayan made a business of up to Rs.6 crores for entire Karnataka distribution of ‘Puli’. The result in the box office is poor all over for ‘Puli’, distributors all places have got back their investment when the result of failure was declared. Similarly Tamil super star Rajanikanth ‘Linga’ declared losses to distributors got back investment.

S Narayan worry is that all the other area distributors have got back investment from producer Puli. It is only for Karnataka territory the return is not made.

In Chennai the offices of Puli producer is locked. Back home S Narayan is contemplating on sitting a dharna at KFCC. He wants the KFCC to intervene in this regard.

The interest amount in the case of S Narayan comes to Rs.70 lakhs.  I am not able to sustain this set back says Narayan over telephone.

Producer of Puli PT Selvakumar and Shibu Thameen have accepted to compensate the loss suffered by distributors a few months ago. Reliable sources reveal that Selvakumar and Thameens have accepted to repay 30% of the losses incurred by distributors. There were reports suggesting that distributors planned to ban the release of 'Pokkiri Raja' due to 'Puli' loss and now this issue has been amicably settled.

'Pokkiri Raja' directed by Ramprakash Rayappa with Jiiva and Hansika in the lead roles will be hitting the screens on March 4, 2016 and it has acquired a U certificate from the Censor board
